What to expect:
Each tour incorporates current science curriculum and age-appropriate science standards. Our knowledgeable tour guides lead your students on a virtual adventure into the wild world of arthropods, engaging and captivating them through the screen with the amazing array of insects in our museum.
The educational experience will be either 30 minutes or one hour, includes animal encounters, and time for questions and answers.
While we are closed to the public, virtual tours can be conducted on a flexible time and date that best suits your schedule and availability. Simply fill out our form below and we will contact you!
Tours must be booked in advance. There is no minimum number of students.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Cancellations: Tour deposits are partially refundable. The amount of the refund is dependent on the time at which the cancellation is requested. If a tour is cancelled 30 or more days prior to the scheduled tour time, then a 100% refund will be issued. If the tour is cancelled 7 to 29 days prior to the scheduled tour time, then a 50% refund will be issued. If the tour is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the scheduled tour time, then no refund will be issued. Refunds will be issued within 10 business days of the request.
Rescheduling: Tours may be rescheduled. If the reschedule is requested 30 or more days prior to the scheduled tour time, then no rescheduling fee will be assessed. If the reschedule is requested 7 to 29 days prior to the scheduled tour time, then a $30 rescheduling fee will be assessed. If the reschedule is requested less than 7 days prior to the scheduled tour time, then a $50 reschedule fee will be assessed. If tours are rescheduled and then subsequently cancelled, the deposit refund will be calculated based on the originally scheduled tour date.
All requests for a tour cancellations or rescheduling must be done in writing and submitted via email to [email protected].
- Tours of 25 students or less are $125 for a 30 minute session*.
- Tours sessions of an hour are $200*.
- Group sizes over 25 students are split into multiple sessions.
* Note: Discounts are available for both tour lengths if your organization books multiple sessions in advance.
