Thank you to everyone who could make it to last night’s Butterfly Pavilion open house at the Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion! We hope you all enjoyed everything we’ve been working on for the past 10 months.
Despite the fact that there is still work to be done on the pavilion, we’re already getting rave reviews. There are still a few exhibits under construction that will be revealed at our grand opening this Friday, 2/24/2017. You won’t want to miss that fantastic event!
Other than that, it was clear from Tuesday’s open house that the butterflies were happy to have company from us human beings: they were fluttering about the entire night and made plenty of human friends!
Come be a part of the grand opening this Friday and remember to wear something vibrant. Butterflies are drawn to bright colors and might think you’re a flower; wearing colorful clothing is a sure way to find a few butterflies landing on your shoulder! Just be yourself on the way out to make sure you don’t have any stowaways clinging to your shirt!
